Stop the killing in Gaza: US protesters

Hundreds of US citizens have gathered in Washington, DC to demand an immediate end to the Israeli assault on Gaza.

The demonstrators, who were toting Palestinian flags, chanted “Stop the Killing, Stop the War, Stop the Genocide of Palestinians,” AFP reported.

The protesters also carried placards reading “Stop US Aid to Israel” and “Free, Free Palestine”.

The peace campaigners marched from the US State Department to the White House.
